The Opportunity:

This exciting new role has been introduced to enhance the University's capacity to provide high quality teaching and learning to students, by collaborating with schools to efficiently manage the allocation and workload of academic staff. Under the supervision of the Provost, you will oversee several teams responsible for providing administrative services to Academic Schools, Associate Lecturers and other internal stakeholders.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and implement an Academic Workload and Resources policy which will provide guidance and support to schools and programmes in developing and implementing staffing strategies. You willoversee the strategic and operational management of the allocation of academic staff resources, and establish deadlines and quality standards for delivering effective and efficient academic resource plans and services that enhance teaching and learning for our students.
** Travel is for team meetings - approximately once a month but with flexibility to meet the requirements of the role.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced HE administration professional with experience in leadership, change and project management and the implementation of new processes and systems. You will beproficient in academic staff planning, utilization and administration services, with an excellent understanding of policy and regulation development, an innovative approach with a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive change. You will need great stakeholder management skills, high levels of customer service focus, and well developed IT skills
