What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will manage large contract party arrangements and lead upstream procurement activities, including contract formation, framework renewals, rate negotiations, and projects within EDF policies and procedures. You will develop and maintain key metrics and reporting as part of governance and control activities to demonstrate the value added by the frameworks. Additionally, you will support Power Stations when issues relating to supplies and deliveries arise, drive commercial challenges, and take responsibility for contract and partner performance improvement. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners and internal customers at all levels will be crucial. As part of Nuclear Generation’s Supply Chain function, you will ensure that company commercial strategy and processes are appropriately devised and deployed within your area of responsibility. You will also support the development of commercial thinking within the Power Station communities that use the framework agreements through formal training and tactical interventions. Who You Are You will have experience working in a technical engineering environment and be educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent. Working towards or already having obtained chartered status would be an advantage. You will have relevant commercial experience in procurement, contract/commercial management, and SRM, but other relevant experience will be considered. We’re looking for an individual with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships across all levels. Being able to lead and influence at senior levels, both internally and externally, will be crucial. You will be a delivery-focused individual, able to understand and prioritise issues as they arise and take appropriate, timely action.
