A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist, on behalf of our client, a leader manufacturing automotive company based in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate horizontal and 5-axis milling machines.
Load materials and unload finished products.
Adjust machine settings, including speeds and cutter paths, as required.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, adhering to customer tolerances.
Strictly follow procedures and safety guidelines, including company protocols, operating standards, and process documentation.
Maintain accurate logs of production activities, equipment issues, adjustments, and repairs.
Conduct machine inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns.
Ensure machines are adequately stocked with tools and materials to minimize downtime.
Prioritize safety to protect yourself and others around operational machinery.
Demonstrate flexibility to support production requirements during busier periods.
Qualifications & Experience:
Time-served CNC Machinist.
Proficient in operating horizontal and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience working to high-quality standards on precision components.
Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
