REF 22/25: Zero Hours Policing Skills Trainer Forensic / Crime Scene Field of Crime Scene Investigation and Fingerprints
Salary: Scale 6 £32,247-£35,526 per annum (based on full time hours - please note this is a zero hour contract)
Location: This would be course dependant as per the job description. Training site within Durham is based at The Centre Of Excellence, Meadowfield

The role
Prepare, develop, administer and provide all training and development for Student Officers, employees and other customers as required by the organisation to meet business needs both in the UK and International arena.
What You’ll Do
Deliver training programmes to agreed content and assessment specifications, developing and adapting, where appropriate, teaching techniques, lesson plans, scenarios and training materials to meet individual students' abilities, levels of understanding and learning styles. Supervise and develop students in a classroom and operational environment.
Participate in foreign travel to develop and deliver tailored programmes/training to international clients.
Monitor/assess the progress of students, particularly those required to obtain a set standard within a training programme and highlight any problems at the earliest opportunity.
Ensure a safe working environment for students and staff and that training activities have been risk assessed and are regularly reviewed.
Prepare, design and deliver appropriate practical and technical training and development within the forensic crime scene/fingerprint fields.
What You’ll Bring
* Four G.C.S.E. levels (Grade A to C) including English Language or Literature and Maths or an approved equivalent.
* Must be willing to work towards and achieve A1 & V1 Accreditation within 12 months of appointment.
* Level 4 training qualification e.g. Education & Training award or be willing to work towards and achieve within six months of appointment.
* At least five years professional experience in a fingerprints or CSI field.
