Salary: Scale 3 Points 5-6 (FTE £24790, actual salary £17272.84)
Part time: 30 hours 50 minutes per week
Term Time: 38 weeks per year
Working Pattern: 8.35am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch
Permanent Contract: to start Tuesday 22nd April 2025
We would like to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team. This post is to provide support for a child with additional needs mainly and/or general classroom learning support when required.
We are looking for a colleague who:
1. Has experience working with children with SEMH needs in order to support them to reach their full potential.
2. Is confident to deal with social, emotional and behaviour issues, underpinning approaches on positive relationships and mutual respect.
3. Provides good evidence that their knowledge and abilities are closely matched to the person specification.
4. Is positive, warm and friendly with children, parents and colleagues.
5. Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
6. Is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children.
