Position: Managing Estimator

Location: Surrey
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + package
B&B Construction Recruitment is delighted to be working with a UK-based civil engineering and construction contractor, delivering a diverse range of infrastructure, groundworks, and full-build projects. With a £60 million annual turnover, the company operates across multiple sectors, specializing in roads, bulk earthworks, battery storage facilities, and residential/commercial developments.
Role: Managing Estimator overseeing a team of 5 across both building and construction as well as infrastructure and civil engineering. You’d be expected to work on both JCT and NEC contracts and manage your own portfolio of projects whilst simultaneously overseeing the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Estimating Processes: Oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for a variety of projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s commitment to innovation and cost-effective solutions.
* Bid Management: Develop and manage competitive bid strategies, collaborating with clients and internal teams to achieve the most cost-effective solutions.
