What will you do?
* Work with the management team to ensure front of house and bar employees are exceeding guest expectations and always running the venue effectively.
* Cocktail menu creation for both Main Bar and Skylark Cocktail Bar as well as any special events the venue is running.
* Manage the bar team alongside Bar Manager including Bar Supervisors, Bartenders and Bar Backs.
* Train, motivate, inspire, engage and develop those within the Bar department.
* Manage a seasonal workforce which doubles in the warmer months.
* Wet stock management, ordering and stock count - proactively working to reduce wastage.
* Alongside management and the Bar Manager, be proactive and creative but also consumer leading, on keeping the beverage offering fresh, appealing and on trend.
* Beer line cleaning and general bar maintenance and health and safety.
* Show the team how it’s done – this is a hands-on role where you will also be working the bar.
* Form strong relationships with the different vendors who operate out of the venues as well as the internal floor and back of house teams.
Requirements:
* Duty manager experience in a high volume venue.
* Experience in cocktail menu creation.
* Personal License Preferred.
* Previous Key Holding Experience.
* Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time - this is a large venue, you'll do many steps!
* Ability to deliver on tight deadlines when required.
* Strong people manager.
* Friendly, positive attitude.
* Confident speaking to new people.
* Expert level of English language.
* Right to work in the UK.
