The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices. Each invoice must be matched with purchase orders and coded correctly. Payment of all invoices within agreed timescales. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Dealing with supplier queries. Scanning and filing invoices. Raising purchase orders. Checking invoices against purchase orders and resolving any price queries. Organising invoices for authorisiation and liaising with staff to ensure invoices are approved in a timely manner. Maintaining exisiting supplier account details. Undertaking monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and preparing and importing a monthly payment run. Dealing with email and telephone queries. Raising ad-hoc payments. Weekly reconciliation and banking of cash takings. Control of petty cash. Active participation in continuing professional development. Support the whole of the Club Doncaster group to promote the events and the business as a whole, including additional support at Club Doncaster events such as the Festival of Fireworks or concerts, for example. Act at all times with utmost good faith to the Club(s) and Company. Devote full attention and ability to fulfilment of the duties required by the role. To work closely with fellow staff, maintain good relationships, and collaborative working practices. To work with colleagues throughout Club Doncaster to extend knowledge and skills in order to identify and develop best practice. To undertake other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job. To maintain the quality of service provision, regularly evaluating work and seeking to make improvements. About The Candidate Person specification: Experience of working in purchase ledger. Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with wide range of suppliers. Capable of working on own initiative and self-motivating with good attention to details and levels of accuracy. Ability to align behaviour with the needs, priorities and goals of the organisation. Ability to maintain accurate and timely records while working to deadlines as appropriate. Flexible approach to daily tasks and ad-hoc duties.
