Job Description
:
Within our Audit practice, we’re very keen to support and hire those who have had career breaks and would like to return to a busy but flexible auditing role.
In 2022, Grant Thornton has seen very positive steps forward in our audit business. With quality and inclusion at the forefront, we have a clearly defined and robust audit strategy over the next 5 years. The strategy outlines our commitment to quality, business growth across our complex and larger mid-market client base, having the right talent in senior positions and working with the right clients that share our values.
Due to internal promotions and the continuous development of our people, we are looking to strengthen our RI population in the Gatwick and Thames Valley region. This is the perfect opportunity for an existing Director to take on a leadership role, focusing on people and development, high quality, and developing our client base further.
As an RI you'll focus on the strategic growth of the team; business development and ensuring that all work allocated is carried out profitably, efficiently and to the highest level of quality.
The ideal candidate will be at Director level looking for an opportunity to take a leading strategic role. You will be currently operating as an audit RI within the larger mid-market space, with an inclusive mindset. You will hold an accountancy qualification and a high audit quality rating. You will have a passion to work within a collaborative, high performing, and inclusive working environment.
There’s more to life than work
So if you’d like to work flexibly, let us know. We’re happy to look at flexible working options for all our roles, and we’ll always do our best to keep your work and life in balance.
Grant Thornton has a direct resourcing model, and where needed we work closely with our preferred suppliers. As such, we do not accept speculative CVs from any agencies that we do not have a contractual agreement with for RI hires, and we will not pay agency fees for these.
