Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Maintenance team at Randox Laboratories.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop new diagnostic platforms and improve existing ones. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop system components into working systems for developmental assessment.
* Develop design concepts based on user requirements.
* Contribute to the development of functional requirements specifications.
* Communicate requirements clearly to other team members.
* Apply knowledge of electronic, electrical, RF, analogue, and digital design.
* Work alongside scientists to test and validate designs.
* Liaise with external companies and purchasing department.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Designing and developing new diagnostic platforms.
* Improving existing platforms through continuous improvement.
* Generating and maintaining technical documentation.
* Conducting FMEA and risk/hazard analysis.
* Reporting project status to management.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A degree in electrical or electronic engineering or relevant work experience.
* Relevant experience in electronic design, covering analogue and digital circuits.
* A willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior experience in mechanism design, motion or robotic systems, design for manufacturing principles, ISO standards, and FDA guidance for medical devices would be beneficial.
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
