Job Title: BOM Analyst
Hours: Mon-Fri, 07:30am – 4:00pm (Hybrid, Flexible)

A world-leading automotive manufacturer of prestige and high-value motor vehicles is seeking a BOM Analyst to join their BOM Engineering team within Product Information, based in Gaydon. Role Overview
As a BOM Analyst in Product Information, you will create, configure, maintain, and interrogate the Bill of Material during the early phases of programmes. You will support Engineering across various Centres of Competence (CoC), guiding engineers through the BOM creation and management process. Additionally, you will perform quality checks to ensure the completeness and accuracy of BOMs at different programme lifecycle gateways.
Responsibilities
* Implement industry standards and best practices to enhance data management efficiency and accuracy.
* Ensure demand and part master data accuracy within MRP systems.
* Manage BOM maintenance in MRP, including creating part numbers, maintaining part attributes, and establishing standard operating procedures.
* Act as the primary contact for Engineering, supporting process improvements related to part number structure and data management.
* Research and compile supplier information such as BOM costs, lead-times, shutdown periods, and batch sizes.
* Continuously improve BOM and data integrity to enhance data quality and system accuracy.
* Develop and track departmental metrics, including ECRs released and their statuses, to facilitate data cleansing.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Strong analytical, project management, communication, and writing skills.
* Customer-facing experience, with the ability to handle multiple demands.
* Experience with Bill of Material management is preferred but not essential.
* Understanding of Change Management processes.
* Knowledge of Dassault 3D Experience is a plus but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple workstreams.
* Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills with diverse teams in engineering, production, and management.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects.
