About the Care Manager role:
We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated and experienced Care Manager to lead our Homecare team, and strategically drive the business forward, ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Senior care, leadership skills and a proven track record in managing teams effectively. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and motivate a team, while ensuring the service delivery that's in line with ‘CQC’ standards.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Develop, implement, and review person centred care plans tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
* Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure exceptional service delivery.
* Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of client's needs.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate medical care and support services.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
* Ensure effective communication with clients and their families regarding their care and progress.
* Managing growth and business development.
* Participation in ‘on call’ service on Rota basis.
* Covering Home Care visits as business requires.
What we’re looking for in our Care Manager:
* Knowledge of 'CQC' standards and safeguarding.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing care plans.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients, families, and staff.
* Compassionate approach towards all our clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
* Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
* A full UK driver's license, own vehicle, and flexible availability is essential (Including some weekends).
* Geographical knowledge of Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
* Proficient IT skills.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
