Procurement Manager
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Procurement Manager to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost-saving initiatives. This role will focus on optimising procurement processes, ensuring supply chain resilience, and delivering commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve cost efficiency and supplier performance.
* Lead negotiations and manage supplier contracts to secure favourable terms.
* Oversee procurement across key categories, ensuring quality, delivery, and risk mitigation.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
* Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of supply chain principles, contract management, and category strategy.
* Experience with ERP/MRP procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
