About the company:
Our client is an award-winning remediation contractor based in Essex, who offers practical solutions for brownfield regeneration and contaminated land problems. By using their extensive in-house experience, they aim to provide an unrivalled service tailored to their client’s individual needs. To date, our client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the South East for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors, and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor. These projects range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation and development platform preparation on brownfield sites.
Our client recruits only the best people who are motivated, dedicated, and can work with a professional outlook. Having worked closely with this client for many years, I would highly recommend them as they offer an excellent working environment where they encourage professionals to progress within their careers. Furthermore, with a close management team, the business has the ability to offer a real family feel, assuring that you will be a name rather than just a number within the organisation.
About the opportunity:
Due to successful company growth, my client is currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the senior management team and be responsible for delivering multiple remediation and earthwork contracts safely, on-time, and within budget. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for setting site managers and project managers regular sectional programme-based objectives for each contract and then providing guidance to achieve this; ensuring that health, safety, and environmental obligations of a contract are met; regularly reviewing project programmes with Project Managers; liaising with clients and attending progress meetings; and providing input at tender stage on programming and logistical aspects, to name just a few duties.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold proven success of working on remediation and/or earthworks projects whilst operating at Contracts Management level. Additionally, due to project locations being throughout the South East, you must be willing to travel/work away from home when required (subsistence will be covered) and hold a full UK driving license.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £80,000 - £95,000 per annum; however, specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, a generous benefits package will be offered, and excellent career development and training opportunities are available, including the opportunity to progress into an Operations Management role.
How to apply:
If interested in this opportunity, please send a copy of your CV to me or call confidentially on (phone number removed) to discuss further.
