The Organisation
In this Engineering Lecturer role, you will join our Further Education organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the College's aims, objectives, and mission statement to provide quality education and training in response to local need.
2. Develop our Engineering provision to support students into Higher Education.
3. Deliver mainstream provision to full-time 16-18 and adult learners.
4. Adhere to qualification requirements and tailor programmes to suit employer requirements.
5. Manage and track the student learning programme, including administering all paperwork related to tutor courses and groups, tracking documents, monitoring targets, achieving and maintaining group size targets, and arranging additional support where required.
6. Carry out required assessments, including initial advice and guidance, initial assessment, referral for additional support, assigning homework, and providing timely feedback on the learning experience.
7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of student and course registers and address poor student attendance, setting targets when required.
Skills & Experience
1. Must have the ability to deliver Hand Fitting and associated skills to Level 1 and 2 apprentices.
2. Demonstrable teaching skills.
3. Relevant engineering qualifications.
