Job Brief
We are seeking a creative and driven Motion Designer / Video Editor with a strong focus on advertising to join our team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for a variety of channels, with a particular emphasis on performance marketing across TikTok, Meta, and Instagram. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to larger-scale advertising campaigns, including TV and Outdoor advertising, as well as supporting wider brand-building initiatives and campaigns, spanning social media, customer communications, and the Moneybox app. Reporting to the Motion Lead, you will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and the Head of Brand and Creative to develop and execute impactful motion and video assets that align with our brand guidelines and deliver outstanding results.
What you’ll do
* Create impactful video adverts for social media platforms (TikTok, Meta, Instagram), including the whole creative process, from contributing ideas during our regular pitch sessions to video editing and delivering final assets.
* Understand the principles of performance marketing and how video content can drive conversions and engagement.
* Using our brand guidelines, create beautiful and engaging animations for the Moneybox app that delight our customers and inspire them to take action.
* Support the Motion Lead and Head of Brand and Creative on large above-the-line advertising campaigns, including TV and Outdoor.
* Help bring the Moneybox brand to life across the business, adhering to and maintaining brand guidelines across all motion content.
* Understand and adapt content for different channels, including app-specific requirements.
* Conceptualise ideas, develop storyboards, and execute video projects from start to finish.
* Collaborate with your colleagues, both within the wider Brand and Creative team and cross-functionally across the business (Product Design, Content, etc).
* Manage your tasks and projects effectively according to agreed deadlines.
Who you are

* A passion for creating engaging and effective advertising content.
* Proven experience as a Motion Designer / Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing engaging advertising work both above and below the line.
* Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
* Solid understanding of performance marketing principles and best practices for social media advertising.
* On top of trends in advertising and content, with a knack for what makes people ‘click,’ ie. on TikTok, Instagram.
* Ability to work within and maintain brand guidelines.
* A creative mind with strong conceptual and storyboarding skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both fellow creatives and cross-functional stakeholders.
