What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general facility maintenance in a production environment that operates 24/7. The technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, disassembling, and troubleshooting complex equipment involved in production processes, including high-speed automated machinery and other manufacturing equipment.
Job Details:
* Schedule: 10pm - 6:30am (Mon-Fri, weekends and OT as needed)
* Location: This will be at our Wilsonville plant.
Responsibilities:
* Provide support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and making necessary repairs to maximize efficiencies
* Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP
* Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment
* Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner
* Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports
* Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs
* Operate the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system for inventory and production line operational excellence
* Clean tools, parts, and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance
* Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production
* Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed
* Conduct quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards
Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
* Trade School certification preferred
* 2+ years of maintenance experience
* Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Ability to read schematics
* Welding and Fabrication experience
* Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
* Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly; strong computer skills
* Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing experience preferred
* Knowledge of manufacturing, production operations, and industrial technology preferred
* Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
