The Dove Medical Practice is looking to employ one or two new members of staff for the reception team, with hours varying from full to part time.
Our reception team is the first contact patients have with our services. These are important roles at the heart of the high-quality care we provide.
Main duties of the job
Successful candidates will be part of a motivated team, working closely with a range of healthcare professionals to ensure we always deliver the best possible care and experience for our patients.
Candidates will need to be comfortable with a flexible approach to tasks and be proactive in solving problems. They must be able to engage positively with patients and colleagues. Candidates will also be supported to use the latest technology, including our own digital apps and services to connect with patients.

1. Reception or customer care experience is essential.
2. The person must be an excellent communicator, both spoken and written.
3. Must have PC skills and be able to use basic Word, Excel, and email.
4. Must be able to work within processes and procedures.
5. Work effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
6. A willingness to learn and progress with a can-do attitude.
7. The ability to communicate with a wide range of people in a kind, professional, and caring way.

Qualifications
* GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
Experience
* Experience of working in a GP practice.
* Experience of working in a team.
* Experience of working with telephone-based systems.
