SOCIAL HOUSING LITIGATION SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to lead solicitors who oversee the disrepair litigation function within the Social Housing Litigation team. This involves delivering legal services to affordable housing and registered provider clients.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting clients in defending volume housing disrepair claims brought by tenants, including pre-litigation matters.
2. Assisting in supervising paralegals handling disrepair claims.
3. Contributing to periodic reporting to clients as required.
4. Conducting legal research to support case management.
5. Participating in business development initiatives to strengthen client relationships.
6. Representing clients in court proceedings.
The ideal candidate will be an organised individual with strong attention to detail and 1-4 years of post-qualified experience. Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules and experience in handling volume litigation is essential. Additional skills and attributes include:
