We are currently seeking an Investment Governance Analyst to join our Investment Governance Team within Client Assurance. This role is crucial in managing platform assets, maintaining governance and control frameworks, and developing strong relationships with FNZ and other key external partners to ensure positive client and business outcomes. About the role Governance & Oversight Ensure assets are added and maintained on the platform in line with the governance framework and risk appetite of the business. Maintain internal data records (e.g., Master Record) to ensure weekly oversight reports and fund lists accurately reflect market changes. Oversee and manage platform fund data, ensuring the fund additions and existing range are aligned with market expectations. Conduct due diligence on new and existing EFMs and DFMs, maintaining oversight reporting to track delivery progress. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and third-party stakeholders to ensure effective governance and risk management. Work closely with FNZ and other outsourcers, influencing their service delivery to align with abrdn’s standards and client-focused outcomes. Provide assurance over third-party controls, assessing risk management effectiveness and ensuring timely issue resolution. Risk Management & Compliance Monitor outsourced services and seek assurance from third parties regarding operational controls and risk management. Support the team in delivering compliance assurance aligned with MiFID, PROD, COBS, SYSC, DPA, and Conduct Risk. Analyse data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and risks, enabling informed decision-making. About the candidate Strong analytical mindset, with a natural inclination to challenge existing processes and implement best practices. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Macros Experience with FCA regulations (MiFID, PROD, COBS) is not essential but advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Effective relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
