Job Description
We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrician or Air Conditioning Engineer with cross over skills who will be efficiently operating and maintaining new and existing building Electrical and/or HVAC services, carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance, carry out diagnostic checks and fault finding. Participate in out of hours call out rota and complete all work-related documentation accurately on time. The role is a permanent position paying between 40 - 50k depending on qualification and experience level.
Van supplied. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. On-call rota TBA.
The position will cover the West Yorkshire region.\n\nMultiskilled Electrical / Air Conditioning Engineer Description:\nRoutine PPM tasks in accordance with the SFG20 framework.\nMaintenance and electrical compliance checks/PPM\nReactive maintenance and electrical repairs or Air conditioning repairs as required.\nMinor new works and complete required certification as necessary.\nAttend site meetings or training when required. \nProactive when on site.\nWilling to undertake other duties in line with contract deliverables.\nCooperate with other disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services where required.\nProcure materials and equipment to carry out works through the Supervisor or Manager.\nBe available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration.\nBe part of a callout rota with additional remuneration.\nSupporting contract mobilisation and change management.\nAssist the site team in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the site.\nEnsure clients operational procedures are always adhered to.\nObtain appropriate authorisation for access into restricted areas from the client's representative as and when required.\nComplete risk assessments and worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation from the Clients representative.\n\nRequirements:\nExperience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment including HVAC systems and lighting is desirable.\nElectrical or Air Conditioning Specific Qualification\nF-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, was 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)\n18th edition\nExperience working on commercial equipment, not domestic Installers.\nAbility to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract.\nBe pro-active and have the ability to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults.\nAbility to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems.\nAbility to effectively prioritise own workload.\nFlexibility and adaptability to change / flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive).\nPro-active and positive approach to work.\nGood knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.\nAble to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20kg.\nAble to ascend/descend vertical access equipment; able to work at height.\nMust hold a full UK driving license.\n\nIf you are interested then please click the APPLY button now\nPRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors.\nPlease note if you have not heard from us within 5 days, then your application has not been successful.\nPRS is an equal opportunities employer
