Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Concept house, Brackenbeck Road, Bradford, BD7 2LW
Reports to: Sales Office Manager
Work schedule: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Debar Ltd is a prominent UK-based company specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-quality bi-fold door hardware solutions for leading system houses and fabricators. We are seeking to recruit an Account Manager to work alongside our existing sales team. The successful candidate will join Debar at an exciting juncture, as the business embarks on an ambitious growth journey, both in the UK and internationally, supported by a pipeline of innovative new products.
Key tasks and responsibilities
* Process a high volume of customer orders using Sage 200.
* Handle administrative tasks such as order tracking, updating CRM systems, and generating reports.
* Handle customer card payments.
* Proficient in the navigation of the sales tracker (Insight data).
* Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs.
* Key account management - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, offering support and addressing their needs.
* Provide excellent customer service, acting as a main point of contact for customers.
* Conduct soft sales with current customers, identifying opportunities for additional products or services.
Innovation
* Present ideas, initiatives, and opportunities to encourage the continuous development of people, systems, and procedures within the sales team.
Communication
* Communicate clearly with clients, addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise.
* Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing and logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
Requirements
* Familiarity with Sage.
* Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
* Basic sales skills, with the ability to engage in soft selling.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and client relationship building.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.

* Hands-on approach and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible and open approach to learning and development.
Desirables
* Customer service background.
* Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Business and Administration.
* Knowledge of Insight data.
* Experience in the bi-fold market.
