The role?
A new opportunity has arisen for a Mob/DeMob Yard Team Lead to join us here at EnerMech. This is a permanent full time position reporting to the Head of Materials and Equipment. The role will involve managing a team of direct reports.
The Mobilisation / Demobilisation Yard Team Lead will oversee the daily operations within the yard, managing the organisation of the yard, accountable for equipment mobilisation /demobilisations, and the storage of materials and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual capable of supervising yard staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and upholding safety and quality standards.
Other main responsibilities will include;
* Focal Point for yard organisation and improvements with a Quality Improvement mindset
* Be the focal point to the business lines for all mobilisations
* Ensure rentals are off-hired and returned to vendor quickly and efficiently to save on additional costs to the business
* Direct and supervise yard staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
* Coordinate the despatch and delivery of units and equipment to various client or project locations
You are?
To be successful for this position you will ideally have a minimum of 5+ years experience in a yard, warehouse or logistics environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
You will have good computer knowledge and the use of office suite software and hold a valid Forklift License up to 16 tonnes. Both Dangerous Goods Training and LEAN Six Sigma training or experience are also essential.
