Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday

CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator .
We are looking for a superstar who enjoys coordinating the activities and efforts of teams to ensure a streamlined and efficient Operation, resulting in excellent service for our customers and colleagues.
In this role you will be building excellent working relationships with both staff and clients in the Service Centre and beyond and be the go to person who designs and delivers an effective operation with couriers and suppliers.
The main responsibilities within the Operations Coordinator role are:
10. Answer phone lines promptly and professionally
11. Arrange relevant collections, transit routes and deliveries
12. Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments taken
13. Liaise with both Operations departments and where required Imports, to ensure any imports arrive back in line with correct SLA (transit time)
14. Provide the Customer with updates on all exceptions or issues
15. Request and enter all POD’s from relevant agents
16. Report all discrepancies to Managers
17. Provide quotes when requested to the relevant Customer
18. Monitor the emails for the Service Centre
19. Work with suppliers (agents) to deliver a seamless, high quality Customer Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
20. Have some experience in suppoorting the control with dispatching vehicle or allocating the vehicle.
21. Treats people with respect under all circumstances.
22. Responds promptly and appropriately to the needs of the customer and suppliers to ensure their requests for service and assistance are adhered.
23. Ensure all jobs are collected and delivered with agreed timescales – Delivery by Time.
24. Client operational queries are dealt with effectively and promptly and the client is made fully aware of the outcome.
25. Being proactive in suggesting to your manager how we can improve our service delivery.
26. Skilled listener, able to understand and empathise with Customers whilst understanding context and the Customer supplier relationship
27. Ability to self-motivate and work with the minimum of supervision
