The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and show enthusiasm for caring for chemotherapy patients in a day unit setting. You will be able to work independently yet be an important part of a busy nurse led team. We provide a high standard of nursing care, treating a diverse group of patients. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to undertake further study within 6 months of a successful appointment and to be adopted by Macmillan. Main duties of the job To work as a member of the nursing team led by senior nurses to provide high quality nursing care to patients within the Haematology Day Unit. To behave in a manner as laid down in the NMC code of professional conduct. To plan, implement, deliver and evaluate nursing care within the day unit. To assist in the auditing of patient care and service delivery.
