Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with local and national engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
Prepare detailed engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure design specifications are met during construction.
Oversee and mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS).
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
