Job Title: KS3 SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students in their academic progress
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
* Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods
* Ability to motivate and inspire students with diverse needs
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Experience using assistive technology to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
