The Role
Are you ready to take the lead and create a safe, supportive home where young people can truly thrive? We’re on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to head up a brand-new 2-bed EBD children’s home in New Brighton.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading the Home: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets Ofsted standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Inspiring Your Team: Lead, supervise, and develop a dedicated care team, creating a positive and motivated environment.
* Championing Young People: Develop and manage personalised care plans and risk assessments tailored to each child’s unique needs.
* Building Relationships: Work closely with children, families, external agencies, and professionals to deliver seamless care.
* Staying Compliant: Ensure safeguarding procedures and all relevant legislation are followed to the letter.
* Managing Resources: Handle budgets, resources, and admin efficiently to keep everything running smoothly.
* Driving Excellence: Regularly monitor and improve service delivery, creating a welcoming and inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Proven track record as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential home.
* Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or working towards it.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and best practices in childcare.
* Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
* Passion: A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
* Other Essentials: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
