Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated individual to support the development and delivery of a communications strategy, supporting Salford Primary Care Together (SPCT) across website, social media, publishing, marketing, branding and events activities. As we develop further, we are looking to recruit a communications officer to play a key role across our digital, social media, marketing and wider membership communications activities.(SPCT are also a member of the GMUPCA with a base in Stockport, and there will be opportunity to support this partner twice a week). Main duties of the job The postholder will be primarily responsible for creating and delivering communications and marketing plans for projects across the organisation, managing newsletters, writing copy, identifying content for and scheduling social media messages, and creating content for our website, including new approaches to digital publishing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about communications and looking to build their experience and expertise in an up-and-coming organisation. The role is busy and varied and the successful candidate will get wide-ranging experience working across a number of key communications activities. An element of this role will include a secondment with external partners and stakeholders, based in Stockport.
