We are recruiting two talented Loan Advisors to join their expanding team in Rotherham. Role Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive fact-finding calls with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend tailored loan solutions. Manage loan applications from initial consultation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. Analyse applicants’ credit history and financial information to assess eligibility while identifying potential risks or fraudulent activity. Ensure all recommendations align with Responsible Lending and Consumer Duty regulations, delivering positive customer outcomes. Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions, documenting suitability summaries for each case. Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets set by the Senior Team Leader. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and loan products to provide informed advice. Provide exceptional customer service, fostering strong relationships with clients and ensuring a smooth loan process. Person Specification Previous experience in financial services, lending, or a similar advisory role. We also welcome applicants with transferable sales and customer service skills, combined with managing a complex and varied workload (i.e. agency recruiters, account managers, or those from an estate agency background). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Strong organisational and time-management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to assess financial information accurately and challenge lender requirements when necessary. A proactive and driven mindset with a passion for delivering the best customer outcomes. CeMAP qualification is desirable but not essential (must be obtained within 30 months of employment). What’s On Offer This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £27,000 - £31,000 with an OTE of £38,000 inc. bonus - and the potential to earn even more Employees benefit from hybrid working, with one remote day per week, and 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service. There is also the option to buy up to 5 days of holiday per year. Additional benefits include an attendance bonus, a monthly incentive scheme, the Scottish Widows Pension Scheme, Westfield Health Cover (optional contribution), Life Assurance, and Income Protection. Employees also have access to Virtual GP services. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, no weekend work, with core hours between 9:00am-5:30pm and a requirement to work until 7:00 PM one day per week.
