Their Nursery is a key part of their foundation phase, where they lay the groundwork for a love of learning. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of Nursery staff to deliver exceptional care and early years education in line with school values and ethos. Plan and implement engaging, child-centred activities that support the development of the whole child, encouraging creativity and exploration. Work closely with the wider school staff to ensure continuity and progression for children as they transition from Nursery to Reception. Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on children's progress and wellbeing. Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, health and safety regulations, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Lead observations, assessments, and developmental reports to track each child's progress and plan targeted next steps.
