As the Event Operations Manager youll be the driving forcebehind their food bus operations at events ensuring everything runssmoothly and customers leave with a smile. Your daytodayresponsibilities will include:
KeyResponsibilities:
* Oversee the operation of our food buses ensuringeverything from inventory to team management is onpoint.
* Monitor and maintain inventory levelsof food beverages and supplies placing orders as needed to keep usfully stocked and ready to serve.
* Organiselogistics related to vehicle movement for events making sure werein the right place at the right time.
* Ensureall opening and closing procedures of the food trucks are completedto the highest standard.
* Act as the firstpoint of contact with event organisers ensuring seamlesscommunication and coordination.
* Ensurecompliance with Health & Safety Act 1974 and Food Safety andHygiene Regulations 2013 maintaining a safe and hygienicenvironment.
* Supervise and coordinate the teamincluding cooks servers and other employees providing leadershipand support.
* Support the team in thepreparation and serving of food ensuring highquality servicethroughout.
* Supervise your team during eventsaddressing welfare concerns and managing disciplinary matters whennecessary.
* Handle customer requests andcomplaints with professionalism and a customerfirstapproach.
* Maintain food equipment ensuringeverything from refrigerators to cookware is in good workingorder.
* Uphold high levels of cleanlinesswithin all work areas.
What Were LookingFor:
* A full UKdriving licence is essential and a Category C Licence is abonus.
* Experience in the catering andhospitality industry.
* Proficiency with POSsystems and computer knowledge.
* Strongculinary skills with knowledge of food preparationtechniques.
* Experience in cash handling andsales.
* Solid knowledge of food safetystandards and regulations.
* Flexibility to workdays evenings nights and overnight stays during events.
* A minimum of Food Safety Level 2certification.
* Physical stamina to stand forlong periods during events.
