Are you enthusiastic about learning cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography (structural biology) and interested in contributing to multi-protein complex assemblies? Are you committed to excellence in the laboratory-based work? If so, this exciting opportunity may be ideal.
A 3-year Research Associate position is immediately available in Dr Mohinder Pal's laboratory in the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Kent, United Kingdom.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious researcher who will work on a cutting-edge experimental research project on the structure-function analysis and regulation of multi-protein complexes involved in DNA repair pathways.
The project involves a combination of biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology techniques. The structural part involves single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and X-ray crystallography. The role also includes developing research objectives, conducting research, and writing research papers for publication.
Informal enquiries about the research project can be made to Dr Mohinder Pal by email (M.Pal@Kent.ac.uk ). For further information regarding the application process, please contact peopleserviceshr@kent.ac.uk quoting reference number SNS-001-25
