Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Handle day-to-day business cases in the area of sea import shipments and delivering of shipments by the procedures for dispatching and delivering
* Issue and monitor transportation documents, collects documents for dispatching and delivering of shipments
* Make rate offers to customers and partners where applicable
* Interface with customers/agents to take bookings, coordinate shipments, troubleshoot issues, and provide updates on service disruptions, etc.
* Communicate with clients on the status of their shipment
* Use your knowledge and expertise to think outside the box to resolve potential shipment delays
Desired skills/experience:
* Preferably 2+ years Ocean Import or Export experience
* Great customer service skills
* High competency in handling Sea cargo shipments
* An enthusiastic, positive, team-focused attitude
* Thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment
* Open to learning new tasks and developing your career
* A passion for transport and logistics
