£35,000 - £55,000 + Annual Bonus, 6% company pension, 27 days holiday

Control Engineer – The Role:
* Design, deliver & validate complex equipment or processes
* Electrical controls/concept design including functional design specification, safety requirements specification, cause & effect matrix, safety block diagram
* Software design including the specification & production of software/configuration deliverables for e.g. PLC/HMI/Drives/3rd party equipment
* Combining strong technical skills with a logical problem-solving approach to deliver smart, creative, best-value solutions
* Maintenance of the technical construction file
* Commissioning, FAT and SAT at customer facilities
* Apply industry standards and best practice
Control Systems Engineer – The Person:
* Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or minimum 2 years’ experience
* Good understanding of control system design and implementation principles
* Electrical engineering/controls hardware concept design, not just PLC software
* Experience of PLC programming, HMI design is a must
* Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron PLCs & Proface HMIs preferable
* Experience with AutoCAD Electrical/EPlan
* Knowledge of robot programming desirable
* Knowledge of NEC standards desirable
Role requires a high level of flexibility as, depending on the project, work may be in the office or at customer sites. You should expect to spend 30-40% of your time on site completing commissioning work. Current projects are based in Ohio, Sunderland and Bicester
Located in Home Counties, this role would be commutable from within and around Oxford, Swindon, Reading, High Wycombe & Thame
