What are we looking for? We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse Team in Brigg. Working closely with our manufacturing and supply chain teams we distribute most of our own products. If we’re not operating efficiently then our customers won’t find our great products, which is not good for business Our Warehouse is a fast paced and ever-changing environment. Hours: 06:00 till 18:00 day shift / 18:00 till 06:00 night shift Shift: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights / 4 days off) Reports to: Warehouse Team Leader Main Purpose of the job : To carry out the various duties in the warehouse as instructed by the Team Leader and Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities Main Responsibilities: Goods In: Goods intake (incl. quality and quantity checks) Unloading trailers with raw materials (potatoes, oil IBC, cardboard, film) Correct pallet labelling on arrival. Completing all intake documents Picking raw materials ready for production. Moving, storing, and organising raw materials and consumables Replenishing goods in pick faces (Flavour, film) Raw material stock counts, stock auditing FIFO Stock rotation Goods Out: Order picking (case pick, full pallets) Entering customer details (name, address) into the courier portal and printing shipping labels. Loading trailers Moving finished goods from production faciality to warehouse, using shunter van. Loading finished goods on the racking in the warehouse. Finished goods stock counts. Dealing with stock returns. Co-packing: Over labelling of the individual product packets with additional product information. Making of mix product cases Other duties: Good housekeeping (cleaning) Clan as you go. MHE pre-operational checks Near miss / accident reporting KPI/Measures: Picking accuracy Case per hour picking. Clean as you go. Near miss reporting Accident reporting Attendance reports Qualifications Essential skills and knowledge: F.L.T licenses (flexi truck, reach truck desirable) Previous warehouse experience Order picking experience. Experience with WMS Computer literate, basic MS Office knowledge. Organised Eye for detail Strong communication skills Good attitude to work – ‘Can do’ attitude, Team player and also being able to work on their own. Numerical skills Able to work under pressure.
