In addition to sales growth there is a focus on gross profit growth and new account activation through proactive pursuit of customers predominantly through field sales calls. This is achieved through growing new customer sales volume; pursuit of prospective customers to gain new account business; and active pipeline management. Effective collaboration with Regional Sales Managers and Branch staff is critical. The sales representative will grow the business to achieve the company's objectives and KPIs. The successful individual must have a strong telephone manner, excellent verbal and communication skills, be a strong listener and have the ability to close the sale. Identify customer targets within their territory to develop the sales plan 90% gas and 10% hardgoods Prepare a prospecting list in coordination with the Area Sales Manager. Be responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory supply and service to customers of the company. Leads the prospecting through prepared visits to potential customers and competitor customers. Optimise time spent at the customer site to quickly obtain a contract signature. Sell and negotiate Energas products and services ensuring that Energas sales policies are adhered to. Ensure customer satisfaction is the highest priority. Define strategy and improvements for the selected Energas customers and implement it. Empathise with customers on any complaints regarding sales and service and refer to the Sales Manager if necessary. To abide by the current Safety, Health and Environment policy giving priority to the safety of staff and customers at all times. Are you a MATCH? Experience in selling in either a manufacturing or gas environment. Good standard of numeracy and literacy. Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems. The ability to communicate using emails and word processing. A full, clean driving licence.
