Lead Project Plumber
📍 Location: North England (National travel may be required)
💰 Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Project Plumber to join our team and take the lead on a variety of plumbing projects across the UK mainly in the North. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives on responsibility and enjoys seeing a job through from start to finish.
As a Lead Project Plumber, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery—from initial surveys and writing RAMS, to managing subcontractors, attending client meetings, and signing off completed works. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients and the internal team, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys and prepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
Manage and coordinate teams of subcontractors on-site
Attend client meetings and manage client relationships throughout the project
Sign off completed works and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
Provide technical leadership and support to junior plumbers and team members
Travel nationally as required to attend project sites
What We’re Looking For
SVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
G3 Unvented Certificate
Proven experience running plumbing projects end-to-end
Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Full UK driving licence
