Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with an arts sector organisation for an immediate 'Front of House Assistant'. Fixed term until end of December 2025.
The Role – 37 hours per week with a base site of Cultra, Bangor. X6 days in week 1/ x4 days in week 2 including x2 alternating weekends per month.
The ideal candidate:
* Demonstratable enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional customer service to a wide-range of people of all ages and abilities.
* Ability to work flexible hours within a rota system including weekends and bank holidays.
Experience:
* Experience of using an online bookings and admission system or computerised retail till system.
* Experience of working within a team, and as an individual within a team, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation.
* Previous experience of cash-handling, counting cash and reconciling takings.
* Experience of effectively using a range of IT tools and computer programmes such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
* 6 months experience working in a customer service within a fast paced, public facing environment OR 1 years’ experience working in a customer service role within a fast paced, public- facing environment.
Desirable:
* Experience of working within a comparable retail or front of house environment with high customer numbers.
* Experience of working towards the achievement of commercial targets and Key Performance Indicators.
* Have qualifications skills or experience of particular use to a Front of House role in e.g. Foreign Language or Sign Language.
* Demonstratable understanding of accessibility and inclusion needs to welcome a diverse range of visitors.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 GCSE’s at Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
