Founded in 1983, Metro Rod is a leading provider of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The services are provided by over 40 franchisees with geographical coverage across the majority of the UK, Scotland and Norther Ireland. This is a full-time vacancy and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers. We have a company van and fuel card for the successful candidate. What does it entail? Operating our brand new CAP Combi 3200 CL Tanker unit, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains and cold-water plumbing systems, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Predominantly you will be carrying our pre-planned maintenance works and in some cases emergency reactive work. Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year.
