Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our culinary team. As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations, assisting in the preparation of high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of senior chefs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace.
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met consistently.
* Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Participate in menu planning and execution as required.
* Support the team in various kitchen tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating good communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
* Leadership qualities with an eagerness to learn from experienced chefs.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen.

Pay: £22,880.00-£36,912.91 per year
