What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
As the face of the organisation, you will be working alongside our people to support them into employment and housing. You will provide financial support and connect whānau to a wide range of services and other assistance as required. The whānau we serve come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. You will create a safe environment for people to explore options and determine what's most important to them. You will empower whānau to take the lead in developing and achieving their goals. You will build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others to enhance outcomes for our people. You will need to develop and maintain relationships with your peers and partner agencies to give and receive support when needed.

• Be purposeful: show care and warmth, give support to others. Look after the dignity of people through the expression of manaaki.
• Be resilient: the work is fast paced and demanding. You will be highly dependable and have the grit and tenacity to show up and work hard, bringing developed strategies with you to cope with pressure, in an ever-changing environment.
• Be open: be fully present and listen intently without judgement to what is being said, empathise with whānau and their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
