Firm Background:
Join our newly established law firm, led by an experienced Solicitor with a vision to grow and maintain a stellar reputation through an exceptional legal team. We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a senior solicitor in handling various personal injury cases, including road traffic accidents, Employers Liability (EL/PL) claims, and clinical negligence claims.
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong background in personal injury or clinical negligence with at least 1 year full-time experience or equivalent.
* Experience using MOJ portals.
* Ability to manage and prioritise a high caseload with a case management system.
* Excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Effective argument construction for optimal client outcomes.
* Team player with an interest in marketing and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage personal injury litigation from inception to conclusion.
* Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information.
* Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
* Organise and maintain case files and documents.
* Perform legal research and analysis on pertinent laws and regulations.
* Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organisation.
* Schedule appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
* Support the principal solicitor and office manager as needed.
Caseload:
* Handle a mixture of EL, PL, RTA and clinical negligence claims.
* Focus on Fast Track work and assist on Multi Track matters.
Additional Information:
* Training contract available after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
* Salary will be commensurate with experience.
* Hybrid working options may be available for suitable candidates.
