Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dudley Rehabilitation Service (DRS), for an assistant administrator, to work within its small admin team. This is a great chance to work with a well-established and high functioning admin team, to enable the specialist community teams to work effective and efficiently. The post holder will be working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech therapists, Dieticians, and Nurses as well as liaising with patients and other services on a daily basis. The post is full time, Monday to Friday, based at Stourbridge Health and social Care Centre. The admin teams provide an important and integral part of the day to day running of DRS, managing its referrals, patient phone calls, booking patient appointments and recording staff contacts on OASIS. Main duties of the job The post holder will be expected to: - To provide comprehensive efficient clerical and administrative support, to the clinical multi-disciplinary teams within Dudley Rehabilitation Service (DRS). - To obtain information from Health Care Professionals as required by patients and staff - To communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure that high quality care is provided. - To work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving on the high standard of care within The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.
