Main duties of the job To deliver appropriate high quality Urgent & Emergency Care to all patients on behalf of the States of Jersey Ambulance Service (SoJAS). This will require the managing of treatment of patients who contact 999; whether through face-to-face assessment, re-triage or through a hear, treat and refer model. To demonstrate and exercise high levels of decision making, discretion and judgement as a Specialist Paramedic in clinical practice to apply professional acumen to make safe, clinical decisions when managing a wide range of patient demographics with undifferentiated conditions or injuries. Provide clinical triage to the Ambulance Service by referring patients as appropriate to alternative health and social care agencies in cases where calls do not require a hospital attendance.
