This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a first-of-its-kind project in the UK, focusing on the defueling and decommissioning of AGR nuclear power stations. This site-based role offers dynamic and hybrid working options. The Role As a Planning Engineer, you will be integral to the Project Controls team, working directly with Project Managers to develop and manage project schedules. This role ensures that each project meets key milestones through effective scheduling, risk management, and cost control. Your responsibilities will include: • Creating, tracking, and reporting on project schedules across the portfolio • Building a cost and resource-loaded baseline plan aligned with project goals • Capturing and overseeing project budgets and resources to ensure precise cost forecasts • Developing Work Breakdown Structures and Project Control frameworks to align with project scope • Maintaining project baselines while evaluating schedule and cost variations • Utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) to optimize project performance • Collaborating with project control teams to synchronize financials with project schedules Skills & Experience Required: • Skilled in Primavera P6 • Experience in creating cost and resource-loaded plans • Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis • Strong numerical and analytical skills What we would like to offer you: • 25 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays) • Contributory pension scheme • Life assurance • EAP and Wellbeing Assessment. • Income Protection • Private Medical Insurance For further information please contact Cate Green on /
