This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking administrator to join our Pharmacy Business Function in providing administrative support to the Education, Research and Development (ERD) Team.
About the Role
This role within the Pharmacy Business Function will support the provision of an effective and efficient administrative service to the ERD senior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Responsibilities will include supporting the facilitation and monitoring the administration systems to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Pharmacy ERD service.

About you
With experience in a previous business or administrative role you will have:
1. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, data input and minute taking.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3. Educated to SCQF level 8, e.g., HND level in a business administration/other relevant subject or have significant equivalent level of experience
4. You must show initiative and prioritise work, manage your own workload and maintain high standards with excellent attention to detail
5. Knowledge and experience of the NHS would be advantageous
This role is based at West Port (Business Function Team base) and within the Pharmacy Department (ERD Team) at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
