As a Workshop Technician, you will be working as part of the Operations team displaying your machine engineering ability, whilst also acquiring new skills, working on our refreshment equipment. You will be involved in undertaking detailed inspections of machines, providing quality build, repair and PDI’s to ensure our customers receive the highest quality of product every time. This is a permanent position, working Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00. The Role – Workshop Technician To provide a PDI service on all machines prior to dispatch, ensuring they are to specification and to deadlines. To carry out basic fault finding on malfunctioning equipment, utilising problem-solving abilities and liaising with other team members when required to repair machinery. To keep the workshop area tidy and within health & safety guidelines at all times, fulfilling a daily cleaning routine. To provide support to colleagues on technical expertise where required. To spray panels for machinery as and when needed. To take responsibility for keeping up-to-date with machine knowledge, and to use our bespoke eagle ERP system on a daily basis. What You Will Need in the Role of Workshop Technician You will need sound experience of working as a machine technician, fixing equipment within a workshop environment. Strong electrical knowledge, and awareness of electrical safety. Working knowledge and experience of hand and power tools. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross department with warehouse operatives, and parts too. Problem solving abilities, and able to fix issues effectively.
