Used as a weekend and occasional holiday home, the property requires a high level of attention and care throughout the year. We are seeking a professional, proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and is looking for a long-term, stable position. Key Responsibilities: Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing Preparing and cooking meals when the family is in residence Serving meals and clearing up when the family entertains Ensuring the home is well-stocked, organised, and always guest-ready Handling general property maintenance and minor repairs Coordinating with contractors and tradespeople as required Providing occasional support to the gardener Candidate Requirements: Must be based locally (within 5 miles of GL7) Previous experience in a similar role within a private household Professional, discreet, and trustworthy at all times Willing and able to work weekends as needed (approximately 25 per year) Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach A genuine desire to contribute to the smooth running and upkeep of a well-maintained family home This position would suit someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a calm, can-do attitude.
