Our client specialises in delivering Electric Vehicle (EV) training courses to various sectors, including Automotive Engineering, Motorsport, Rail, and Aviation. They are looking for an experienced and qualified trainer with a strong technical background in Electric Vehicles and related equipment. Key Responsibilities as an Automotive Trainer: Develop Technical Training Programs: Create training programs that meet organizational needs, ensuring they are relevant and up-to-date. Course Content Creation: Develop training schedules, classroom agendas, and detailed course content. Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops either in groups or individually, both on-site and at customer locations within the UK and globally. Training Material Preparation: Prepare comprehensive training materials such as presentations, worksheets, and exercises. Assessment: Evaluate delegate competency and assess the effectiveness of training programs. Quality Compliance: Ensure training programs meet ISO 9001 quality standards and external accreditation requirements. What’s Required from You as an Automotive Trainer? Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, ideally educated to HNC, HND, or Degree Level. Training Experience: Previous experience as a trainer, preferably within the automotive sector, and a confident speaker with the ability to engage an audience. Teaching Qualifications: Possess or be willing to work towards an approved teaching qualification. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills. IT Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages. Driving License: A full UK or international driving license is essential.
